Character Award

I was completely shocked when Jaxson's kindergarten teacher called me and told me that he was getting a character award at the end of the year award ceremony. For those of you who really know Jaxson you can understand my surprise. I was so excited I told her I was going to have it bronzed and hang it on the wall!! He has come such a long way since the beginning of the year thanks to medication that has helped him focus a little better and a wonderful teacher who has had loads of patience and never gave up on him. I am so glad he will be in her class again next year. We love you Mrs. Campbell!!

Here's the proof!

Mother's Day 2010

Today has been a great Mother's Day thanks to my hubby & kids. I've not done a bit of cooking, cleaning or handling the kids. What more could I ask for? I have spent most of the day catching up on my blog so when you have some time, check it out.

Happy Mother's Day to all of those special mothers, sisters & friends out there that I love!

Football catch-up

We are half way through our third straight season of football and I haven't posted hardly any pictures. We have a really awesome team mom who takes about 100 pictures each game and shares them with us. It's really nice but I am overwhelmed with pictures. The first two seasons both Nate and Jake played. But this season Jake decided he wanted to play baseball instead so it's only Nate playing football.

For the most part they have had the same team all three seasons and they are pretty good. Their combined record so far is 15 wins 5 losses. Nate is the quarterback and he's doing a great job.

He started playing in October and since then they have practiced every Tues. & Thurs. for 2 hours each day and then they spend another 2 hours at their games on Saturdays. I would have thought that he'd be burnt out by now but he still looks forward to it and really loves playing. I, on the other hand, am totally burned out! As much as I love watching him play, I'm tired of giving up half of my Saturdays to football. I am looking forward to the short break he'll take over the summer before they start back up in the fall.

Here are the team pics from last season.

Here are a few recent pictures from the games. Nate's #2.

This pass was thrown for a touchdown!

Only 4 more games to go!

Baby Boy #4

I had an ultrasound today and as hard as everyone has wished and prayed for another little girl it just wasn't meant to be. Haley will remain the one and only little princess in our family!

I think he's gonna be photogenic. She kept trying to get a good profile shot but it was like he knew we were looking cause he kept turning his head and looking right at the camera or the wand thingy, whatever you want to call it. So here is a full face shot (creepy!).

This is my favorite -- his little foot!

And here is the one that made me tear up. I really didn't want to see another "little stinger"! (Look at this like you would look at his bum if you were holding his legs up changing his diaper)

What do you think? Any doubts that it's a boy??

I didn't think so.

The good news is that he looks healthy and is growing right on schedule and that's really all that matters.

Haley's 15th Birthday

My little girl turned 15...only one more year till boys & cars...YIKES! We had the family over for brownies and ice cream to celebrate and she received a bunch of money which she plans on using to buy new clothes (such a girl!)

She picked Texas Roadhouse for her special birthday dinner with mom and dad where she ordered a huge plate of ribs. We made her sit on the saddle while the whole restaurant gave her a special birthday "Yee Haw!"

She's growing up too fast!

Haley's Braces

Here is the after picture I promised you 4 months ago. She's had them all on for about six weeks now & I think she's still just as beautiful as ever (especially with all those cute freckles)!
